EMOTIONAL OPRAH ANNOUNCES THE END OF HER SHOW

Posted on 11/24/2009 at 9:29:53 AM

Holding behind tears, Oprah Winfrey told her college of music assembly Friday which she would finish her uncover in 2011 after a quarter-century upon a air, observant request as well as clever suspicion led her to her decision. (Nov. 20)

Who gives a rat’s ass about Oprah? She’s just another blowhard that made billions off of shallow minded Americans.
Good riddance to this blight on American media. (and what a perverse bunch the U.S. media is)

Oh, boo-hoo… her show is ending in 18 months. This is just a publicity stunt to make even MORE money by getting more views and advertisement revenue. As if the richest woman in America needs even more money (eye roll). What a greedy fat bitch Oprah is.

She leaves a nation adrift on a flood of pressing consumer choices. How will America get through the day not knowing which books to buy then never get around to reading, which cakes to order online, how to fit a new brassiere, what healthy stools look like, and where to find the plushest towels?

How can she expect people to make these decisions on their own? Does she no longer understand that spiritual fulfilment is impossible without the right handbag?

She will be truly missed. She is a part of American culture. Everywhere I have traveled throughout the world they honor her, but we have stupid people who call themselves Americans, who have no appreciation for what she has contributed to this country. They can not see beyond the color of her skin. That is sad!

Maybe the show then could be broadcast exclusively to hell.

That’s right. I am in adult education, and I teach adults, among other things, to approach all forms of entertainment, texts, art, etc. in a critical manner, so that they will not fall prey to false values or manipulation, and therefore stand up for themselves and reach their goals.

Thanks for the info. Does it mean we can’t see her in shows everyday? What’s the difference between her show now and Cable? No everyday shows?

You can bet your bottom dollar MDryden isn’t responsible for turning the brains of a zillion housewives into mush.

Look at the third video response here. Guess Palin, O, and Paris all have something in common–weak brains and anything for money.

O will be around to pester people for $ on cable. We should be so lucky that she will really go away.

@jwv651 The only thing about Sarah Palin is you would hear her say “Oh My God” like every 3 minutes.. lol

    OMG Finally!!

She is gone and everybody is now praying and saying hallelujah she is gone forever.. Now we’re gonna have to put up with Radio Guest DJ Delilah every night.. I just hope she doesn’t end up like Rosie O’Donnel on the View now.. That would defiantly suck!

She is in the television business. If you let yourself get carried away by a mere portion of her “evil” entrepreneurial ethic then the burden is upon you.

Qualify your “manipulative” stance, Natasha Richardson fanatic.

Wow. She may be even dirtier than I thought, then?

Yeah. They seem to get along really well.

I’m very sceptical about the so-called abuse at the Africa school. Oprah was probably just deploying a time-tested recipe for increasing viewers and profits – the old child abuse accusation.

  23. CPSSucks Says:

A generation was destroyed by this ridiculous and dangerous woman. She isn’t going anywhere, just moving into more powerful forms of mind control. We can thank Oprah for the abuse industry, not to mention the promotion of powerful Scientology figures (the cult which a US judge termed “the mafia of religions”).

I’d agree to that. She could have done so much more…. and so could Warren Buffet as well as the owner of Dell, Mr. Dell himself, Steve Jobs from Apple and all. Ask yourself, how many of them have done anything like what Oprah did in South Africa? Bill and Melinda Gates are doing a lot so far. She could have done much more and probably should but that’s her choice.
